What you need to know ...

Always wanted to learn to dance but never known where to start? Our Beginners' Ballroom class is the perfect introduction to the joy of dancing with no experience or partner needed. This relaxed and welcoming class is designed especially for complete beginners. We’ll take things step by step, focusing on basic technique, simple routines, moves you can go away and use at those special occasions, and plenty of encouragement along the way. You will learn the foundations of popular ballroom dances while building confidence, co-ordination and musicality. Expect a friendly, supportive atmosphere where you can learn at your own pace. Whether you're learning to dance for fun, fitness or to show off some moves at the next family event, this class is a great way to move, meet new people and learn something new! Come along and discover just how fun dancing can be. What you can expect: - Clear and easy to follow instructions and steps - A relaxed and sociable class environment - Focus on basic steps, posture and partnering - No pressure – just enjoyment and progress - A confidence boost on the dance floor What to wear: Comfort is key! Please wear something you feel comfortable in and that allows you to move easily. Shoes that are secure on your feet and allow you to move smoothly are ideal. Avoid very grippy trainers or heavy boots as these can make some movements more difficult. When and where: We run these classes in 4 week blocks, with a free social dance time after the last class. Click the Book Now button to see the next available sessions. Classes are at The Radnor Hall, just off the A338 in Bodenham. This is a well-appointed hall, with a small car park and onstreet parking.
